Cool chunky knitted cardigans to love for years. The Alpaca animal is a species of camel. Like the Llama, but smaller. It lives in the Andes in South America. The alpaca wool comes in over 22 colors ranging from black, grey, brown, sand and ivory. Alpacas are not killed for their fur and can live for up to 20 years. The alpaca wool or fiber is known for its unique strength, lustre and softness. Alpaca wool is lightweight and super warm at the same time, but best of all is the fact that is does not tend to pill or ball. Which means your alpaca sweater will look new and fresh for a long long time! |
